The Detroit Tigers

Motor City Baseball

The Detroit Tigers are a professional Major League Baseball (MLB) team based in Detroit, Michigan, competing in the American League (AL) Central Division. Established in 1894, they are one of the oldest franchises in the league and have a storied history, including four World Series titles (1935, 1945, 1968, and 1984). The Tigers play their home games at Comerica Park, which opened in 2000 and stands in the heart of downtown Detroit.

Although they've struggled in the standings in recent years, the Tigers have a loyal fanbase and a proud legacy, including Hall of Famers like Ty Cobb, Al Kaline, and Alan Trammell. With a growing group of young stars and strong player development, Detroit fans are hopeful that the Tigers will soon return to contention and bring winning baseball back to the Motor City.
